Overview
This policy applies to all services booked through Smart City Care, including AC repair, home cleaning, packers & movers, goods transport, car/bike transport and CCTV installation. By booking with us, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.
Refund Policy
We strive to deliver every service to the highest standard. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, here is how refunds work:
- Refunds are processed within 7 working days of approval by our team.
- The amount will be credited to your original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, etc.).
- Refunds are applicable where the service was prepaid and the following conditions are met:
- The service was not delivered as agreed.
- Smart City Care was unable to assign a professional for your confirmed booking.
- A duplicate payment was made in error.
- The service was cancelled within the eligible window (see cancellation policy below).

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking at any time before the service begins. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

Return Policy
Smart City Care provides home services β not physical products sold for resale. As such, our return policy is as follows:
- Repair parts and materials: Spare parts or materials installed as part of a repair service (e.g., AC gas refill, replacement components) are not returnable once installed, as they are consumed during the service.
- Goods transport: Items transported on your behalf are your own goods. Any damage claims must be raised at the time of delivery and are subject to our transport liability terms.
- Service quality: If the service outcome is not satisfactory, we offer a free re-visit within 24 hours to rectify the issue. This is our equivalent of a "return" for service-based work.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations arise. In exceptional cases β such as a natural disaster, medical emergency, or force majeure event β we will review refund and cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis with full empathy and flexibility.
